Ze Catalist Productions, LLC is a media production company focused on film production, music and film writing and graphic design. BASICS ABOUT THE WEBSITE

Once a daily website, ZeCatalist.com now publishes, on average, 10-15 new posts per month, focusing on album and film reviews, music and film columns, music and film lists, artist feature stories, news, interviews and, from time to time, music- and film- related videos. While we do love all sorts of art culture, we tend to focus on artists whose names your mother or dorky sister probably aren’t familiar with. Modern day heroes include Jim Jarmusch, Will Oldham, Stephen Malkmus, Nic Roeg and many, many more.

If you have news you’d like featured, please send us a press release. We won’t promise to write about everything that comes our way, but yes, we do write a whole lot of copy.

HISTORY

Ze Catalist started out in 2007 as a website called Ease Down the Road. In 2008 the site changed it’s name and design, taking on the short-lived WilmaConsort.com name. In 2009 the Ze Catalist name and site was launched, reaching over 800 unique pages of content before the end of its first year. In early 2011 the site was moved and redesigned. Thus far 99 percent of the material on the site has been written, edited, designed and formatted by Greg W. Locke.
