Finally, at long last, a trailer for Spike Lee’s Red Hook Summer, the latest entry into the auteur’s Chronicles of Brooklyn series. (Past films include She’s Gotta Have It, Do the Right Thing, Crooklyn, Clockers and He Got Game. All movies we adore around the ZeCat offices.)
For the film Spike worked outside the studio system, using some of his NYU students and, we’ve heard, paying for much of the film’s production himself. Very cool. Looks like an interesting flick. Should be fun to see Red Hook on screen, too.
